Changing Limiting Beliefs (CLB)

CLB is really a training course rather than a therapy, and has been designed to help you to understand and take control of your thinking, your feelings, your emotions and your worries. Developed by Rob Kelly, director of the IAPH (International Association of Pure Hypnoanalysts) it is unique and highly effective, having been developed and perfected by Rob over the course of twenty years.

During the sessions you will learn how to completely change the way you think and feel about yourself when faced with challenging situations. The key to this is clearly understanding what makes YOU tick. You are much more empowered when you understand how your mind works, the interaction between your emotions, your personality and your thinking.

The realisation that through poorly-managed thinking you may have caused your problems, you can really feel optimistic ... because if you caused these problems, then you can change them!

The CLB training program will provide you with personal insight, which, in turn, allows you to totally change any limiting belief systems that are adversely affecting your life.
Do you catastrophise? Do you obsess about things? Do you always anticipate the worst case scenarios?

The CLB program will demonstrate how your imagination plays a huge part in both causing and resolving problems and symptoms. You will also discover the thought pattern which is giving you the problems, and once you are able to pinpoint where the causes of your negative beliefs come from, it's quite easy to change them into something working for you rather than against you.

A limiting belief system can have a profound negative or damaging effect on your life. They can cause you to suffer relationship problems, ill-health, fears and anxieties, and even mental and physical illnesses. This training program has already helped to change the limiting beliefs of people with problems such as clinical depression, M.E., post-viral fatigue syndrome, low self esteem, obsessions and help to stop smoking.

It's well known that there are many other self-help techniques available, including NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy); however, CLB is more successful because it actually helps you to understand your own personal character traits, your personality. Until you have understood the component parts of your personality you will not be able to go forward. It's no good just 'thinking positively', that in itself will never work; you need to discover the driving force behind your limiting beliefs.

During this program we will work together through Rob Kelly's workbook. I will help you to identify and understand clearly the crucial elements that apply to you personally. Over the course of six sessions we will use a combination of discussion, teaching, home study and hypnotherapy as tools to achieve the very best outcome for you.
